Inaugural edition

Corporate & Embassy Chess Championship

The first Corp Cup event: a professional chess championship gathering representatives of private-sector companies operating in Iraq alongside embassies, in an experience that blends refined mental competition with institutional relationship-building — from the moment of arrival through to the closing ceremony. The championship runs in two parts: the first from 00:00 to 03:00 with the 32-competitor bracket, and the second a week later from 12:00 to 17:00 for the rest of the bracket. The championship has been rescheduled — the new date will be announced shortly.
